REMOTE LESSONS (ZOOM)
The first remote lesson will begin with a review of your biomechanical sequence (recorded by you), covering the key biomechanical variables that can affect health and performance. Each step of the sequence will be reviewed and compared to proper movement and timing. A biomechanical improvement plan will be established during the session.

TEAM/ORG ASSESSMENT
The goal is for each athlete to come away with a clear understanding of their personal inefficiencies and deficiencies in strength and mechanics and for coaches to gain the data necessary to customize a pre-season program for each athlete that directly addresses each of their athlete's training needs for the 2024 season.
NPA VELOCITY CAPACITY TEST
Athletes will go through NPA's proprietary Point in Time Velocity Capacity testing process. From there, we can identify exactly an athlete’s current and potential velocity capacity. If an athlete is not currently reaching his/her capacity, we can identify and isolate which weak link is contributing to that failure. (Indvidual Session)

ABOUT JA PITCHING
Avoid injury, improve accuracy, increase velocity!
Athletes of all ages and levels deserve to get the best possible information available so that their hard work shows measureable results.
National Pitching Association certified coaches like JA Pitching offer advanced, scientifically proven instruction and training to help pitchers increase velocity and functional strength while eliminating mechanical inefficiencies so players can reduce their risk of injuries and develop their skills. One of the best qualities of NPA coaches is that they have a true understanding of what movements are unique to the player (player signature), and what movements are critical to mechanical efficiency.
To become NPA certified, JA Pitching went through a process that included attending a coaching camp, working with a regional manager for several months, participation in weekly Zoom clinics with Tom House analyzing athlete's mechanics, showing proficiency in NPA training blocks and passing an NPA Coaching Exam with a 90% or higher. There is ongoing training and mentorship ensuring NPA Coaches are at the cutting edge of information and technology.
Further, as an ArmCare specialist, JA Pitching is a baseball performance professional that deeply understands how to assess and monitor the throwing arm's strength and range of motion, and thinks critically in creating a throwing and training program to make customized adjustments to guide athletes in reaching their dreams.

JA Pitching is ready to utilize his training and background that includes 20+ years of working in professional sports and exposure to professional athletes and their training habits to help athletes from age 8 and up to reach their pitching potential.
The camp, in partnership with Bryan Garrett Hitting & Catching, is designed for athletes 11 and older who are serious about their softball career that are either currently playing travel softball or will be in the upcoming season with goals to play at the collegiate level.
