JA PITCHING WINTER PITCHING WORKOUTS

This 10-Week (1 session weekly) Program focuses on building functional strength for baseball pitchers and working on proper pitching mechanics to help pitchers throw harder, easier this upcoming season. Each session is limited to 5 athletes.

PROGRAM DETAILS​

In the first session, athletes will take a baseline assessment that includes:

STAT screening testing for weak links and for point in time capacity (how much faster could you throw with optimal strength balance and mechanics).

Arm Health Analysis testing throwing arm and shoulder strength.

Throwing delivery capture to create a detailed mechanics analysis

Following Sessions Include:
-
Functional Strength Workouts to build functional strength. The first several sessions are general to build a foundation. The last few sessions will be customized to your weaknesses.

Nerve Patterning Drills to work on proper movements and mechanical sequencing.

Touch Bullpens to work on pitching mechanics on the mound (beginning week 6 after a foundation of movements are created using pitching drills).

Pitching Classroom sessions to discuss pitching biomechanics, functional strength, mental/emotional management, nutritional management and sleep and recovery along with arm health management, pitching philosophy, strategies and tactics.

Final Assessment on the last session to track progress and provide game plan for continue improvement for each athlete.
